How Corso prices and executes your trade
This page says what a swap in Corso costs, how the price can move, and who approves what. Every line was checked against the app on the date below. If a line stops being true, we change this page and record the change at the bottom.

What Corso charges
When you swap, Corso charges a fee of 0.50% (50 basis points) of the swap. It is on top of the Solana network fee and any price impact on the route.
The fee shows on the review screen, labelled Corso fee, before you sign. If the fee on the review screen differs from the rate on this page, the review screen is the one that applies, and you shouldn't approve a swap whose fees you don't accept. Corso may change this rate. A change applies only to swaps you start after it takes effect.
For example, on a $100 swap the Corso fee is $0.50.
If you buy a token issued under Solana's Token-2022 standard, the 0.50% is charged in SOL on top of the swap, not taken out of the tokens you receive. The review screen shows it before you sign.
| What you do | Corso fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Swap one coin for another | 0.50% | Shown as Corso fee on the review screen. |
| Swap between two of USDC, USDT and PYUSD | None | The review screen reads No Corso fee. See the rule below. |
| Send or receive | None | The Solana network fee still applies. |
| Buy with a card or bank through MoonPay | None from Corso | MoonPay sets its own rates and fees and shows them in its checkout before you pay. |
The dollar-token rule
Corso charges no fee on a swap when both sides are one of these three tokens: USDC (Circle), USDT (Tether) or PYUSD (PayPal USD, issued by Paxos). That means a swap from USDC to USDT, for example, has no Corso fee.
The rule is exact. Corso checks the token's address, not its name or symbol, so a look-alike token doesn't qualify. If only one side of a swap is one of the three, the 0.50% fee applies.
If a swap fails
If a swap fails, Corso charges no fee. Solana can still charge its network fee for attempting the transaction, and that fee goes to the network, not to Corso.
How the price can move
A price can move between the quote and the moment the swap settles. Corso sets the most it may move at 0.50% (50 basis points). If the price moves more than that before your swap lands, the swap fails instead of filling at a worse price.
You can't change this number. Corso has no slippage setting. The review screen shows the least you will receive before you approve, and the app refuses to send a swap whose tolerance differs from the quote you reviewed.
When a swap fails this way, nothing is swapped. Quotes expire, and an expired quote has to be reviewed again. The risks page has the full list of ways a swap can go wrong.
Nothing moves without you
Every trade waits for your OK. When you swap, Corso prepares the transaction and shows it to you on a review screen. Nothing is signed until you approve it, and you approve it on your device.
Corso's servers cannot sign for your wallet. Corso cannot freeze, reverse or recover your assets.
Getting cash out
Selling in Corso is a swap, like any other: you swap a coin for USDC, a dollar token, and the same fee rules above apply. Corso does not send money to a bank account today.
Swapping isn't available in New York, or when Corso can't confirm your region.
Questions to ask any trading app
- Can I see the fee before I sign?
- Can I see the least I will receive before I sign?
- Does anything move without my approval?
Here is how Corso answers: the Corso fee and the least you will receive are on the review screen, and nothing moves until you approve it.
